Advent season and the cosy Almhütte: It’s Christmastime again!

Where has the time gone? The first of four Advent weekends has already passed. If you weren’t able to spend last Advent Saturday on Neuer Wall, then be sure to experience one of the next ones! The mountain lodge will once again be set up on Bürgermeister-Petersen-Platz and serve visitors not just the city’s most delicious mulled wine (according to the Hamburger Abendblatt newspaper, 17 December 2015) but also delicacies ranging from grandma’s pork chops with kale to a new interpretation of the classic burger – the “Pulled Duck” Christmas burger with fried sweet potatoes.

You can find all treats summarised here.

Once again this year, you’ll of course find the traditional crêpes stand between Ewige Lampe and Ermenegildo Zegna between Neuer Wall 41 und 44. In addition, as always, there’ll be a bit of Christmas cheer for all shopping enthusiasts when the gospel choir makes its appearance and our Christmas team of angels and Santa Claus puts a twinkle in the eyes of children – not to mention adults, too.
