City Art Week Hamburg

When strolling through the Passagenviertel of Hamburg, the Stadthöfe and the Neuer Wall, some visitors notice something unusual:

Countless artists have exhibited their works of art in the most popular locations in downtown Hamburg and are transforming the shopping malls into public museums. During the City Art Week from 25.10.-09.11.20 floating works by 50 top-class artists can be seen above the heads of the visitors.
The aim of this campaign is to support the art scene in the difficult time of the corona pandemic and to help artists gain new prominence.

The art can not only be admired, but also bought! From 6 to 9 November 2020 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. in the Hansekontor of the Passage Galleria in Große Bleichen 21 (basement, entrance in Café Schmidt & Schmidtchen) there will be a Popup Art Fair. The originals can be experienced and bought there. The proceeds from sold works of art are paid out in full to the artists.
